Q&A - CREDIT CARD INTEREST RATES
Q: How can I lower my credit card interest rate?
A: On existing credit card debt you can call the credit card company and tell them you cannot afford to make the minimum payments to see what they will do for you. They will often work with you to come up with a plan rather than not getting paid.
On new debt, open a credit card with a 0% introductory interest rate. You will need to have a solid credit score to do this. If you’re credit score is not as good you can still find credit cards with much lower interest rates than the typical highs. A great place to review credit card options is:
Always remember to not charge more than you can pay off before being charged interest!
Keep sending in those questions.
See you next week!
